Judge Sullivan has scheduled a hearing for June 15, 2015, at 10:00 a.m. in his courtroom at the U.S. District Court in Washington, D.C. to hear argument on our pending motion for Class Certification, as well as on Amtrak’s pending Motion to Dismiss Disparate Impact Claims, and Amtrak’s Motion to Strike certain arguments we have made. We do not, and cannot, know whether or not Judge Sullivan will announce any rulings on any of the motions, but it is surely a welcome development to have a hearing. It may – or may not – mean that a decision is close on these motions.
The hearing is open to the public. No one is required to attend, but all are welcome. The U.S. District Court is located at 333 Constitution Avenue, N.W., Washington, D.C. 20001. Metro stop: Judiciary Square. Near the Department of Labor. Judge Sullivan’s courtroom is generally Courtroom 24A. If attending, be sure to go to the Prettyman federal courthouse, not the D.C. Superior Court, which is nearby.
We will immediately post a report, and the Court’s rulings, if any, on our webpage.
